A Stream of Distant Relations / A Flood of Expanded Reactions

At the center of the work is the mail order catalog and the history of the textile industry. In dialogue with previous research on circulation and global interconnection, the works talk about, among other things, the history of the Borås-based clothing company Algot, early mail order operations and today's internet trade. Silhouettes of nature, consumption and labor conditions are woven together with stories about the life cycle of a flax flower and the story of a carnation's arrival in Sweden in the 60s.
